The Bottled Baker started purely by accident.

In 2023, I was working as an Operations Director at an electrical compliance company — and I loved what I was doing. Life was busy, structured, and fulfilling. But then, for the first time in 10 years, I took two weeks off. Suddenly, I found myself... bored. No meetings. No schedules. Just time.

So, I started baking.

One day I’d bake a couple of loaves of bread and drop them off at my daughter’s house or with friends. The next day it was cookies. Then muffins. Then scones. And so it went on for days — each batch delivered with love.

Soon, my daughter and friends began putting in flavour requests. What started as boredom quickly turned into a daily baking ritual, much to everyone’s delight.

But one afternoon, I went out for lunch with my sister and couldn’t bake. My daughter and friends messaged, asking:

"Where are our cookies?"

So, slightly amused (and maybe a bit annoyed), I scooped all the ingredients into jars, wrote a quick baking note, and delivered that instead.

They loved it.

That same evening, over a glass (okay... maybe a bottle) of wine, my daughter said:

“We need to turn this into a business.”

And just like that, The Bottled Baker was born.

We started small — local markets, word of mouth, Facebook posts.

Eventually, the business grew so much that I had to make a huge decision: I resigned from my corporate role and threw myself into The Bottled Baker full-time.

And that brings us to today — bottles full of love, ready for your oven.
